so tiredd!

but i couldn’t be more satisfied with the training program i am participating in this weekend. so far i have met some amazing and kindhearted people and i love hearing of their experiences with service. i am so moved to implement many improvements this year with lauren as my co-coordinator and make the site even more efficient. but God knows, i need to take a trip to the shelter soon, because i’m already starting to miss the animals from home. namely my pups, uh oh… but i need to focus on what’s ahead and what i have been called here to do.

we will be having dinner tonight at X and O. turns out, marryann paid for all of our meals, including this outing at a distinguished restaurant. this woman has really made service and commitment to charity and a greater cause her life mission. what an inspiring lady, i would love to embody her strength and generosity. everything we do here is kind of rooted in a catholic mindset, and i couldn’t be more pleased. opening mass is an integral part of each day and Father Walter even came and spoke with us personally today about the value of our work and how it contributes to campus ministry’s mission. i really hope to begin calling the chapel and the campus ministry office my second home, as i am encouraged to do. also, i wish to grow closer to the people responsible for all of this, which i’m sure i will have the opportunity to do come sunday, when Father Tom has a barbeque for us at his house, God bless him and his ongoing hospitality. and thank God for this amazing opportunity and His love which is imminent through organizations such as these.
